Shit, Spam.

This website is practically inundated with spam comments trying so desperately to advertise their links to ficticious exotic drugs.

A thousand spam comments picked up by Akismet over four days? Damn, if it weren’t for this miracle of a spam blocker I’d just bar anything from commenting. And, somehow, some name spam got into the shoutbox.

I really wanna fix it, but I think I should study. Even if it is 12:50 AM. Oh, and The Host was enjoyable - but perhaps a little too comical for its grave subject matter which included, among other things: a dysfunctional family, a sly, corrupt, large-scale government cover-up and a giant man-eating mutant tadpole, which was beautifully digitally rendered in all its horrific, photorealistic glory (and gory). A great cast of characters. Music seemed out of place at times, though. A decent monster movie, nonetheless: introduced much-needed diversification in a genre that hasnt seen much creativity in recent years. A Korean King Kong.
