Fighting Fish And Stalkers

I have a new pet:

I’ve named him Conroe, to commemorate the retail launch of the Intel microprocessor on the same day I bought him for a mere $3.50. He’s a gracefully gliding bundle of brilliance, especially when the aquarium light falls on his shimmering scales - this seemingly causes him to glow majestically from within, [...]

Crash

My mom was involved in a car crash today. Well, maybe not so involved but implicated. Pretty damn badly.
Some devious (pun intended) taxi driver, whom I assume must have lost his sight or cranial capacity, crashed his vehicle, containing a clueless couple - the woman was 3 months pregnant - straight into the right side [...]

In Love With LOMOgraphy At The BoB

I went to the Singapore Arts House yesterday to check out their LOMOgraphy exhibition. LOMOgraphs are, in essence, random photographs shot with a LOMO-branded camera, which are novelty/toy cameras that come attached to a very specific, yet enticing philosophy of randomness. I’m totally digging it. Capturing life is what photography is for.

Baybeats ‘06

Jun and I, we arrived on the scene, where the scene kids were. But prior to our appearance at the arena where careless cigarette smoke engulfed everyone - cruelly permeating virgin lungs such as ours - there was waiting (on my part).

And there was art.

However such minor distractions did not manage to hold our attention [...]

A (Cleverly Crafted) Response to Prim (And Her New Blog)

Prim, for no apparent reason whatsoever, has decided to start writing on a new blog she christens ‘Almost Tangible‘. It’s title has a meaning so abstract that people have taken to disregard it entirely and have fallen into the habit of labelling her creation, fittingly titularly, ‘Prim’s Blog’. That’s none the matter, for I think [...]

World Cup Fever

It’s really spreading like the flu. Symptoms include extreme exhaustion, short tempers, random bouts of fanaticism, and utter stupidity.
I heard this on the radio today while in the car:

Radio Host: Okay, so you ready for the question? Alright. What country is the referee for today’s match between Germany and Italy from?
Random Caller: Um, er, Italy.
Radio [...]
