It was my sixteenth birthday one week and a day ago. It wasn’t anything spectacular - I tend to celebrate in understated style. For example, by studying chemistry.
It’s tough luck having your birthday land right smack in the middle of the mid-year examinations, year after year. Whoops, I meant, common tests.
I still had a great cake, though.
